What We Learned
You’re probably thinking — I don’t have any more time to do new things. The good news is that it won’t cost you more time. These strategies are about getting more out of what you’re doing.
Kim used to work around the clock and was still completely broke. But, then, reality hit her when she had to pawn her engagement ring to make payroll. So, she knew she had to do something new.
She found the book, No BS Direct Marketing by Dan Kennedy, and a light bulb went off. She remembered the quote by Tony Robbins, “If you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you’ll achieve the same results.”
So, she began researching what digital marketers are doing. They were giving a free gift. So, she began experimenting. She had 1500 email subscribers. And she grew it to over 100,000 email subscribers.
Know this: You have value, and you deserve to be paid for it. Tell yourself: If it’s not going to get me results, I am not going to do it.
We are not going to show up and try to sell them something. You have to show up to the party that is social media. We are not going to chase after the money anymore. We are going to have them come to us.

They switched their messaging to ManyChat and offered an incentive to subscribe.
They promoted the challenge everywhere. Your marketing is not there to fascinate you but to fascinate your target market. So Kim and her company used everything to promote the same thing.
You don’t have to create complicated ad copy. Make it simple. Ask the question, and tell them where to go.
She posted every day. She posted stuff with her kids, different events and used all the channels to promote. She also used LinkedIn Events, Telegram, her Podcast, and more.

She used the apps Groups Ninja to keep track of all this information.
She had people comment on their video and someone else’s video. This creates additional notifications.
She posted pre-challenges at the same time every day. Inside the post, they gave them extra credit if they shared the challenge with other people. Then, we entered them to win a 10x prize.
She posted the challenge content every day at the same time to keep readers engaged, and so they knew what to expect.
They shipped prizes overnight.

Celebrate Action Takers
Kim posted memes celebrating each person who enrolled. This strategy created a new identity for them. Congratulate them, not thank them. In addition, people got access to Zoom backgrounds and similar prizes.
Kim created a board, wrote each person’s name, and placed them on a large board. This strategy allowed her to connect with each person who signed up.
The confirmation page sent people directly to the VIP upgrade. They tested different pricing and refunded anyone who bought the higher pricing. It wasn’t essential to price the VIP, but she wanted to get people in there and get to the course. As a result, 42% of VIP Buyers bought the course.
